October 1st marked the beginning of a month dedicated to raising awareness of breast cancer. The majority of the public is familiar with this disease but there is work to do and battles to win. The statistics continue to be staggering with one in eight women diagnosed with breast cancer and millions of lives affected by this disease. To aid in this campaign, Advocate Capital’s Team Hope has accepted the challenge of forming a team for The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® here in Nashville, TN. The race will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2014.
