AUTISM TREATMENT CENTER & KRW LAWYERS PARTNER WITH LOCAL SNEAKER ARTIST DIMAS ANTHONY MARTINEZ TO RAISE FUNDS FOR LOCAL AUTISM SERVICES
The Autism Treatment Center and KRW Lawyers have joined forces with San Antonio custom shoe designer-artist Dimas Anthony Martinez to elevate local awareness in a campaign called “KRW Kicks for Autism.” (VIDEO)
Dimas Anthony Martinez, known for his hand-painted customs by local luminaries, has created two pairs of inspired “kicks” celebrating San Antonio culture.
The Autism Treatment Center and KRW Lawyers have partnered with local sneaker artist Dimas Anthony Martinez to help raise awareness for individuals living with autism through its “KRW Kicks for Autism” fundraising campaign. Martinez has created two custom pairs of “kicks” for a drawing to raise funds for the Autism Treatment Center.
The KRW Kicks for Autism campaign also includes an art contest for people to paint, draw, color, and create their own custom KICKS. Five entries will be selected to win a gift card for art supplies from Herweck’s.
“Thanks to KRW Lawyers, I created two custom pairs of wearable-art sneakers to continue my passion for designing custom shoes, celebrate Autism awareness, and give back to the city I love so dear,” said Martinez. “This hits home for me as my 4-year-old son Zayn was diagnosed with autism a few years ago. It has been a journey for my family and me, and we’ve learned so much together. As we continue to grow together as a family, we do everything possible to help support Zayn while learning as much as we can about autism,” he added.
“We couldn’t be prouder to present Dimas Anthony Martinez and his creative contributions for the KRW Kicks campaign,” said R. Scott Westlund, co-founder of KRW Lawyers. “Dimas is a great creative partner who reflects the pulse of San Antonio’s drive to give back. The custom shoes are really incredible, and we really appreciate his participation and drive to make great things happen.”
“ATC is grateful to have been selected by KRW Lawyers as the benefiting nonprofit for this campaign,” Cynthia Hamilton, Development Director of Autism Treatment Center. “And, we are thrilled to be able to partner with famed sneaker artist, Dimas Anthony Martinez, to promote brighter futures for individuals with autism and their families.
