Advocate Capital and Pinnacle Financial Partners had the opportunity to come together as a reading community to discuss Amaze Every Customer Every Time by Shep Hyken. Every Spring, our parent company, Pinnacle Financial Partners, assigns a book, and all associates are welcome to sign up to participate in book clubs in the hope of creating more opportunities for community and conversation outside the office. The premise of the book is how we can keep our clients happy by giving them the best possible experience every time. Not only does this idea align with the Pinnacle and Advocate Capital values, but it serves as a reminder that regardless of how great a product or service is, it’s the experience that our clients will remember.
Book club meetings fill up quickly, and this year was no exception as we had many eager participants come out for a discussion. The main topics covered were how close our service to clients is to those mentioned in the book. We always intend to WOW our clients by looking for ways to approach them best and by making all interactions thoughtful and intentional.
A significant part of the discussion was sharing our own experiences and what we have done for our clients to make their experience remarkable, especially when we have been in the client’s shoes and had staff go above and beyond to meet our needs! It was definitely a great way to learn and remind us of what makes Pinnacle Financial Partners and Advocate Capital such great places to work for and be a part of.
