Today, we celebrate Debbie Ivey's 20th anniversary as an Advocate Capital associate. Debbie began her career with Advocate on August 1, 2002.
Debbie started as the first bookkeeper handling the loans and payments of loans, and individually processing client bank transactions and accounts payable. During this time, all transactions – payments and fundings - had to be duplicate-keyed into QuickBooks.
In 2008, Debbie became the senior bookkeeper and added the title of Client Service Representative. Debbie was the sole client transaction processor until June 2011.
By 2011, law firms knew about the services offered by Advocate Capital, and Debbie, Accounting Specialist III, began sharing the workload with other accounting specialists. Debbie helped to mold the accounting department team.
With grateful hearts, we honor Debbie for her role in starting the accounting department, teaching others about client service, white glove treatment, and processing the client's transactions. Her work ethic shows in everything she does.
Thanks to Debbie for 20+ years of service with Advocate Capital and our clients!
