Our team hopes you had a happy and safe Thanksgiving! Our team donated the money we usually spend on a team Thanksgiving lunch to nonprofits in our community.
We value service at Advocate Capital, Inc. We care about giving back to our community and want to help better our community as much as we can. This year, we donated to Operation Stand Down TN, Room in the Inn, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.
Operation Stand Down TN is the only comprehensive Veteran-serving agency in middle Tennessee connecting Veterans with careers, community, and crisis services.
Room in the Inn is a nonprofit organization that provides transitional and permanent housing, hot meals, laundry services, haircuts, legal clinics, education programs, and addiction recovery programs to those impacted by homelessness.
Veterans of Foreign Wars is a nonprofit veteran’s service organization comprised of eligible veterans and military service members from the active, guard and reserve forces. The organization assists in filing for disability compensation, rehabilitation and education programs, pension and death benefits, and employment and training programs.
Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee is a food bank that provides food to those who need it in the Middle Tennessee area. The food bank also provides food to other nonprofit organizations that feed people in the area, like the people affected by the hurricanes in Florida.
Because service is an important value at Advocate Capital, Inc., we are thankful for the opportunity to donate to organizations that provide services for those who need them most.
