April 22nd is Earth Day and this year is the 50th anniversary. According to CNN.com, Earth Day was first started in 1970 by a former senator to increase awareness of environmental issues.
By 1990, Earth Day became a global observance and people participated by cleaning up parks, planting trees, or visiting their local park.
The Advocate Capital team also wants to make sure that we are doing our part to help our environment. Every time that we add a new client, we donate to the Arbor Day Foundation’s Plant 10 trees in our Nation’s Forest program in our client’s honor.
As of April 22, 2020, we have donated 7,445 trees since we have started our Green Initiative program.
We are thankful for the opportunity to be able to donate trees in honor of our clients.
