One of the great things about my role here at Advocate Capital, Inc. is that I get to speak and communicate with successful plaintiff attorneys from across the country. I love sharing their accomplishments!
Recently, I learned that Adria East Mossing has been selected as the 102nd president of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois. Ms. Mossing will be formally inducted on June 8th at the 2016 Annual Installation Dinner taking place at the Hilton Chicago Grand Ballroom.
What a triumph for this accomplished champion of the 7th Amendment.
Prior to this appointment, Ms. Mossing served the WBAI as Corresponding Secretary, Second Vice President, and First Vice President since joining in 2008. Ms. Mossing writes:
I look forward to serving as President of the WBAI. In the coming year, we will focus on issues which impact women attorneys at every stage of their careers including business development, negotiation, leadership skills, and starting one’s own firm. These issues are important. As a plaintiff’s personal injury attorney and a founding partner, I believe that the WBAI is uniquely positioned to provide the type of mentoring and guidance so we can increase the number of female partners in leadership roles throughout the State of Illinois.
Adria is a founding partner of Mossing & Navarre, LLC located in Chicago Illinois. Along with her partner Jim Navarre their over 40 years of combined litigation experience has delivered justice to clients and their families who have suffered from personal injury, medical malpractice, birth injuries, construction, motor vehicle, and trucking accidents. She has recovered millions for her clients through passionate advocacy on their behalf.
Please join me in congratulating Ms. Mossing on this well-earned and deserved honor.
Congratulations from your friends at Advocate Capital, Inc.!
