As law firms look to capture a more diverse client base, many are adding Instagram accounts to their repertoire of business social media accounts.
Search through #hashtags on Instagram, and you’ll likely find a plethora of fun and educational content from law firms. The social giant, once thought to cater to those under 25 years of age, has grown in popularity. Statista.com says as of April 2022, Instagram is most popular with 25-34-year-old females, followed by 18-24-year-olds and 35-44-year-olds.
If your firm isn’t already ready on Instagram- give it a try. The platform leans towards captivating images and videos. Instagram introduced “reels”, which are 15-second or shorter video clips. (All videos of this length are now shared as reels.) Businesses can boost reels, or pay for the reels to be played as sponsored content on other’s feeds.
Instagram’s algorithm favors reels, so don’t be surprised if you upload one publically and get hundreds of views!
