Tomorrow, March 8, is International Women's Day (IWD)! IWD began in 1911. It is a global day designed to celebrate the achievements of women and advocate for gender equality issues. The theme for this year is "Inspire Inclusion."
The IWD website states, "When we inspire others to understand and value women's inclusion, we forge a better world. And when women themselves are inspired to be included, there's a sense of belonging, relevance, and empowerment. Collectively, let's forge a more inclusive world for women."
According to the American Bar Association, "Women made up 50.31% of associates in 2023, the first time that they were a majority in the 30-plus years that the NALP has been tracking firm diversity data..."

We encourage you to support and get involved with women's legal organizations such as the National Association of Women Lawyers, the American Association for Justice Women Trial Lawyers Caucus, and the American Bar Association Commission on Women in the Profession. The ABA Commission on Women is holding many interesting events in March about women's issues in the legal industry.
Over half of the leadership team at Advocate Capital is comprised of women, and we value and celebrate their contributions. Our team would like to recognize tomorrow as a day to celebrate all women, especially all of our employees and clients who are women! Your strength, resilience, and unique perspective are valued and appreciated.
