Advocate Capital Inc. is proud to support the Los Angeles Trial Lawyers' Charities (LATLC) for their work and the assistance they provide their community. The plaintiff attorneys' volunteer organization's motto is "Justice in the Courtroom. Service in the Community." This year, the organization is celebrating its 15th anniversary with President Dan Kramer of Kramer Trial Lawyers at the helm.
The organization focuses its outreach on children, education, survivors of abuse, persons with disabilities, and homelessness. The non-profit organization provides annual grants and in-kind donations throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Since 2006, the organization has delivered $5,034,013 in grants, gifts, and goods to 106 non-profit organizations.
LATLC launched a formal volunteer program in 2015. The team has volunteered 6,080 hours helping prepare and serve meals to the homeless, beautified facilities by painting and planting, and supported sports programs for special needs children. The organization's signature projects include a holiday village and gift distribution, the "Great Tryke Giveaway" of adaptive bicycles for special needs children, and a "Day of Dignity" for the homeless to receive showers, clothes, meals, and pet care. During the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles convention, the team assembled 500 toiletry kits for the homeless.
Dan Kramer says of the organization, "The trial lawyers associated with the organization are hungry to give back to their communities. Not only do they care for their clients, but they also give their time and money to those in need."
Dan's goal for 2021 is to raise $600,000 - $1,000,000 to continue supporting those in need, particularly those battered by COVID-19, and to expand the Trial Lawyers' Charity throughout California and eventually across the United States.
