Congratulations to Laureen F. Bagley of Sloan, Bagley, Hatcher & Perry Law Firm for the exceptional work in securing a judgment for her young client, in the amount of $681,735.34 from a low speed motor vehicle accident.
Laureen and her client faced a huge hurdle overcoming causation when the plaintiff admittedly suffered not only from a pre-existing neck injury, but had just also recovered from a low back surgery just 8 weeks prior to the accident. On the date of the rear-end collision, the 29 year old plaintiff was in good health and working two (2) jobs as a dental assistant. The Plaintiff had returned to full time work after her low back surgery, was pain free, and walking three (3) miles a day when the wreck occurred. The automobile accident caused an aggravation of her prior lumbar injury and a cervical herniation requiring surgery. Through presentation of evidence and expert testimony at trial, Laureen secured the judgment that will allow this young woman to recover her losses and provide future medical treatment and care needed.
