Today, May 1st, is Law Day. Law Day occurs each year on May 1st since it was designated as a day of national dedication by Congress in 1961. According to the American Bar Association (ABA), "Law Day provides an opportunity to understand how law and the legal process protect our liberty, strive to achieve justice, and contribute to the freedoms that all Americans share."
