Each year, our parent company, Pinnacle Financial Partners, designates a day as Make a Difference Day, encouraging associates to do something to make a difference in someone's life. This year, the Advocate Capital and Pinnacle Culture Club decided to return to the local memory care home we visited last year to volunteer. Both last year's and this year's volunteer event made a meaningful impact—touching the hearts of residents and associates alike.
Our team members put together gift bags, which included snacks, word search and sudoku puzzle books, and stuffed animals.
Volunteers from Pinnacle and Advocate visited the memory care home to hand-deliver the gifts, play music, sing, dance, and talk with the residents.
Thanks to all of our associates who volunteered in any way to make this event possible for the second year in a row. Special thanks to Cord Laster, Business Systems Analyst and Project Manager at Pinnacle Financial Partners, who played piano and led the singing.
