I remember my favorite teacher growing up and her impact on me. Her legacy is still with me. National Teacher Day is May 3, 2022, and our friends at Ponce Law are stepping up to honor our great teachers through their 2022 The Oustanding Teacher Contest.
This is the 4th year that Ponce Law has supported our teachers through this contest. They continue to award $500 to the top 5 teachers with the most votes. This year Ponce Law is adding to the prize money by giving the school whose teachers collectively get the most votes $1,000 for supporting their teachers. All teachers nominated will receive an Outstanding Teacher Certificate. As Michael Ponce stated, “education is a passion for us, and we always enjoy recognizing and rewarding outstanding teachers and school each year.”
Many professions were affected during the Covid-19 pandemic, including our teachers. For instance, they changed their entire way of teaching to include remote learning. They faced additional challenges and rose to the occasion. They genuinely are teaching the next generation and inspiring what they can become. Outstanding teachers set a high bar. They love what they do and leave a lasting mark on us. Thank you, Ponce Law, for all you do to spotlight their excellent work. Nominations are open until April 22, 2022.
