When your law firm is brainstorming marketing content for your firm, it can be helpful to occasionally look at your past content to see what performed well and repurpose or refresh it. Doing so can introduce content that you know your audience enjoyed to new audiences you may not have reached before.
Refreshing the content would be rewriting and updating the content to include any new information or advice you may have to share.
The Legal Examiner states, "repurposing takes existing content and finds opportunities to distribute it through a new marketing channel." For example, your firm may want to use information from an old blog to create an engaging graphic or a video.
To begin repurposing and refreshing content, look at your analytics to determine which content performed well and then brainstorm and conduct research on how your firm can improve or expand upon that content.
You should also consider when will be the best time to post the updated content. According to The Legal Examiner, "Posting content about current events shows the target audience that the law firm is paying attention to what’s happening in the world, how it affects legal situations, and is up-to-date on topics relevant to their work."
