Pawmetto Lifeline is a 501(c)3 charity founded in 1999 as Project Pet. They are the only no-kill shelter in the Midlands of South Carolina. Their mission is to "give homeless pets a new leash on life." Allyson Rikard, Attorney and CFO, introduced us to this great organization. She serves on their Board and shares their mission. Pawmetto Lifeline encourages their community to get involved through various programs, including Birthday "Paw" ties and Fur Friends Summer Camp. They also offer medical and dental services for pets, foster and adoption programs, and other opportunities through their business partner program.
