On the evening of September 30, 2015, the Plaintiff was attempting to make a left turn at a traffic light in Johnson City, Tennessee. The Plaintiff driver was transporting herself and three passengers when the vehicle was struck on the left side by a large tanker truck traveling southbound through the intersection. The Plaintiff’s vehicle was rotated counter-clockwise upon impact and was pushed into the oncoming lanes of traffic, coming to rest after colliding with three additional vehicles. All the occupants in the Plaintiff’s vehicle sustained severe injuries.
