On Saturday, February 1, the Sloan, Bagley, Hatcher & Perry Law Firm was among the key sponsors for the inaugural Houston Creole Heritage Festival which included 3 days of Louisiana-style entertainment and recreational activities including a Mardi Gras parade, carnival rides, games, casino tent and live entertainment.
The Sloan Firm, its attorneys and staff are the designated Texas ambassadors for the national “Heads in Helmets” program (www.headsinhelmets.com), which provides free safety helmets in an effort to prevent traumatic head injuries among young children. In addition to custom-fitting 515 children with safety helmets, a team of volunteers from The Sloan Firm and Heads in Helmets board members also assisted teens and adults with downloading the free mobile Texas Injury App (www.texasinjuryapp.com).
