Earlier this month, Advocate Capital’s Team Hope made a visit to the Women and Children’s Rescue Mission in Nashville. The Rescue Mission offers hot meals, shelter, and recovery programs for men, women and children in need. Our Team Hope had the opportunity to see firsthand how this organization is helping the Nashville community, as well as contribute to its mission of restoring hope to the city’s hungry and homeless population.
During our time at the Rescue Mission, we prepared lunch for women and children at the facility and personally delivered each meal to their tables. After lunch was served, our team helped clean the cafeteria, wash dishes and prepare part of the Rescue Mission’s dinner meal that would be distributed later that evening.

It was such an incredible experience serving at the Nashville Rescue Mission, and we are so excited about how the organization is impacting the community. By the end of 2017, the Rescue Mission will have provided 300,000 nights of shelter and 640,000 meals to people in need!
