A group of Advocate Capital, Inc. team members recently volunteered with Book ‘em, a nonprofit organization that hopes to create a more literate Nashville by providing books to children.
According to Book ‘em, in 2018 they donated more than 100,000 books through their Books for Nashville’s Kids program. Our volunteers were so excited to step into action and help impact the number of books children receive.
Our team volunteered by helping Book ‘em with their book donations. We removed stickers, tags, and cleaned books to prep them for donation to children. Our volunteers also checked the quality of books and organized them by age group.
We were so excited to find out that we processed 761 books.
