Congratulations to L. Todd Kelly of The Carlson Law Firm on being honored recently at the inaugural Texas Lawyer Hall of Fame Awards ceremony held November 12th at the Ritz Carlton in Dallas, TX. Attorney Kelly was honored for his success in achieving a $16.9MM verdict, bringing justice and closure to the family of a disabled woman who was raped while in transport to a St. Jude’s facility where she was being cared for.
“Marta Cruz, the mother of the victim, had placed her daughter in this home to take care of her and felt guilty for it. This verdict helped give her some vindication,” said Kelly. Employees tried to cover up the attack but Texas Trial Lawyer Todd Kelly fought hard to bring justice for this disabled victim.
Kelly is known among other Trial Lawyers for his passion in seeking justice on behalf of his clients in all areas, and especially in rape and sexual assault and medical malpractice cases.
