According to the FDA, World Water LLC issued a voluntary recall of Cold Pressed Juice Watermelon also known as WTRMLN WTR Original 12 packs. World Water LLC issued the recall because of the possibility of plastic pieces could be present in some of the bottled juice. The company did not release any information on how plastic pieces could have ended up in the bottled juice.
After the recall was announced retailers including Walmart, Publix, and Winn-Dixie also joined the recall as well.
All consumers who purchased the recall product from December 22, 2018 to February 5, 2019 are encouraged not to drink the product. Consumers are also encouraged to contact World Waters LLC if they are seeking replacement or have questions about the recall.
