August 26th is Women’s Equality Day. On this day in 1920, the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified, granting women the fundamental right to vote. Each year on August 26th, we reflect on the progress made toward gender equity and the work that remains ahead.
For Advocate Capital, this day also serves as a reminder of the importance of supporting women attorneys as they build their careers, take on leadership roles, and shape the future of the courtroom.
Advocate Capital is proud to highlight the voices of women in trial law through ongoing education and conversations. We'd like to share our recent webinar hosted by our President and Director of Associate and Client Experience, Donna Jones, featuring renowned trial attorney Catherine D. “Katie” Bertram.
As more women enter trial law, questions around leadership, growth, and equity are more relevant than ever. In this candid conversation, Donna and Katie discuss the evolving legal landscape for women in litigation, Katie’s experience building a successful trial practice, and how women attorneys can lead and succeed on their own terms
We invite you to watch the full webinar below and join us in celebrating the contributions of women attorneys this Women’s Equality Day. Together, we can continue working toward a more inclusive and equitable future in the legal field.
