Swanson to talk about a devastating case involving extreme police violence used against a defenseless and mentally ill man, which tragically lead to his death. The victim's parents had contacted the police prior to the event on several occasions to communicate their son's abnormal but harmless behavior to prevent such a brutal occurrence from happening. Unfortunately, these pleas went ignored when police responded to a call from a nearby stranger concerned for the man's safety after witnessing the victim talk to himself while in the supermarket.
